#PrayForManchester

The recent bombing in Manchester at Ariana Grande’s concert has really hit me, if I’m honest. I honestly feel lucky that I did not attend this concert but am so heartbroken for the thousands of people who did and have lost various loved ones at this tragic time.

Having attended concerts and music festivals since I was 8 years old, I have always found myself at my happiest when I’m there. Concerts are supposed to be a place of happiness. A place people go to enjoy their favorite artists and enjoy that particular moment and the fact that some of these people were so young, so innocent and so new to this world, is a terrifying subject.

This is not an act of religion. Please do not judge the religion for such a disgusting crime.

“Unfortunately, sick and evil people exist – regardless of religion, skin colour and immigration status. Don’t allow this tragic event to be used as a political tool.”

My thoughts go out to all of those who have been effected by this event and the families who are still frantically hunting for their loved ones.

I hope that you are all found safe.
